Crieff Paths Group – next workparty – 30 April – in Comrie

Due to inclement weather, the workparty planned for the end of March was postponed (the first time this has ever happened!), and is being held this month instead — in Comrie at the Millennium Footpath on Saturday 30 April.

The Millennium Footpath is the result of a community project that aimed to provide a high quality all abilities footpath in Comrie. It was officially opened in 2011.

Parts of the path have been damaged by recent high water levels. The task will consist of helping the Millennium Footpath Association by removing and reinstalling a culvert pipe, creating letts and run-off points, clearing drainage ditches and light work consisting of raking rubble off the path to enable wheelchairs and pushchairs to use it again.

Meet at Laggan carpark (next to the cricket pitch) at 10am. Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear stout footwear.  Bring your lunch (unless you’d like a fancy lunch at the Deil’s Cauldron).

Finish around 3pm.

Please email Alex McLeod (alexmcleodnairn@hotmail.com) if you’d like to take part.
