About the Muthill to Crieff path
Muthill Village Trust (MVT) has been leading the efforts to create a cycle route between Muthill and Crieff avoiding the busy A822. The proposed route would involve a new bridge over the River Earn, and would arrive in Crieff near the Campus — thus providing a safe route for school children wanting to cycle to school.
Crieff Community Trust fully backs this project, and we are committed to working together with MVT to make it happen.
- February 2016: First phase of Muthill to Crieff cycle route (Strageath Road to Templemill) construction begins!
- October 2014: MVT secures funding from the Gannochy Trust, Sustrans and the Big Lottery Fund to develop designs for the path and for the bridge crossing over the Earn.
