Uniting Crieff – launch of online database

We are delighted to share details of a new online database resource, Uniting Crieff, which will be launched soon!  We are now at the stage where we are inviting registrations for listings from the tremendous range of community groups and organisations working in Crieff.

The concept of the database was developed in response to a need that has been consistently identified as a gap for the local community. Crieff Community Trust were successful in securing funding from Perth & Kinross Council and practical support from the Scottish Tech Army to bring this concept to life using the local expertise of digital media services, Fidgety Lizard.  We believe the database will be beneficial to both residents and visitors when they are looking for activities, volunteering opportunities or support in the community.

The site has been developed with 6 different categories for listing and groups can be listed under as many as is relevant for them.  You can register using the Uniting Crieff Registration Form – you will receive a receipt once you have submitted your entry and this will have a link embedded within it to allow you to edit your entry at any time.  We will advise everyone who registers in advance when the site goes live and would encourage you to promote your entry across your own networks!  For anyone who registers after the launch, your entry will normally be listed within 5 days.

The second phase of the Uniting Crieff site will also host a planning section (to be launched once our Community Action Planning process is complete).  This section will have all of the action planning documents available to use as evidence e.g. when submitting funding applications with other information e.g. progress on actions, available for you to view too.

Uniting Crieff has its own domain name and once launched you will be able to go directly to the site using the URL.  Alternatively, you will also be able to find the resource on a Uniting Crieff menu of the Crieff Community Trust website.
