Cash for Crieff
We are very pleased to announce that we have £40,000 available for groups operating for the benefit of Crieff. The money comes from the Scottish Government’s Community Choices Fund and will be allocated to groups using a process called participatory budgeting. This means the community decides who gets the cash through a public vote. The community also helped to decide the various terms of the fund by attending a focus group to vote on their preferred options. This is where we came up with the name Cash for Crieff. All Crieff residents will be given the chance to vote in the first 2 weeks of March. You will be able to choose from various different projects asking for anything from £200 to £4,000 and carrying out a variety of different activities. Cash for Crieff will be available to projects who are benefitting or run by young people, or to groups which feature sports and recreation (defined as anything done for enjoyment rather than work) or for groups who are doing something enterprising or innovative. You can read through the various projects and choose which ones you would like to see funded.
If you would like to apply for funding check out and download the Cash for Crieff Application form and Guidance notes.
