The front page of this week’s Strathearn Herald (19 November 2015) has incorrectly reported details of an agreement between CCT and Perth & Kinross Council regarding Crieff’s former Primary School.

CCT has not secured a lease on the school. Representatives of CCT met with senior staff from Perth & Kinross Council’s Planning and Development at the end of October and it was agreed, in principle, that we could occupy (and develop) the premises for a period of 2 – 3 years. However, the details are far from being signed off — either by PKC or ourselves, and there is much work to do before we can get to that stage.

We are nevertheless very encouraged by and thankful for PKC’s support and willingness to help CCT do something which we believe will be of benefit to Crieff’s town centre and our community more generally.
