Message from PKC Greenspace Coordinator 10.3.21

Updated covid restrictions following yesterday’s Scottish Government announcement.

From Friday 12th  March  up to 4 adults from up to 2 households can meet outdoors for social and recreational purposes.

This means that small scale volunteering activities on greenspace can now resume, though you should still stay as close to home as possible.

Typically this means people from two households can tackle a task together (observing social distancing and common sense hygiene precautions) and if you have a number of sites to work on several small groups of one to four (but remember only from 2 households) could go out at the same time to get the most urgent work done.

Small steps for now but welcome none the less. The key date still appears to be 26th April when, all being well, we come out of “lockdown – stay at home” and back into the four levels (the tiers) once again.

Further clarity on what that will mean in Perth & Kinross will no doubt emerge over the coming days and weeks.

If you’ve any questions please contact Dave Stubbs.
