CCT Receives Big Lottery Funding

CCT has some ambitious projects in the works and we realised we really needed a specific pair of paid hands in the form of a Development Officer to help make them happen. In the summer we applied to Big Lottery Scotland for funding. We were successful with our application and were awarded £80,450 over a three year period by the Big Lottery. This will give a great boost to our efforts, however to cover all costs we have also applied for match funding and the result of that application is expected shortly.

The Development Officer will assist with establishing a co-working space in the former Crieff Learning Centre on Lodge Street beneath Strathearn Artspace, developing affordable housing as per the recent Empty Buildings Appraisal as well as helping us in the process of renewing and refreshing our Crieff Community Action Plan for the next five years.

In addition to these projects, we would like the Development Officer to help build a strong volunteer base, which will enable the Trust to continue to deliver projects in the future. We will be advertising the post of Development Officer soon via our website, social media and goodmoves.org.uk.
