Thanks to EVERYONE for your patience and cooperation while work has been going on to improve the section of Lady Mary’s Walk that runs through Acorn Dell (along the Turret Burn). Work will be completed this week, and the path will be reopened to the public on Friday 12 February.

The contractors have nearly finished, but the path needs a day or two to settle, and the contractors will be back on Friday to dust and roll the first section of the path. In the meantime, please could you continue to access Lady Mary’s Walk via Laggan Road. Thanks everyone!

Once the path is open, we would ask ALL HORSE RIDERS to continue to use the access from Laggan Road until the end of March (31 March) – to allow the refurbished path time to settle and harden. If you know any local riders, could you please help us by passing on this information to them? Thanks again!
