Path survey training – 27 March 2015 – and it’s free!
If you’re a keen walker or cyclist — or if you’re just into the great outdoors — why not come along and learn a new skill with the members of the Crieff Paths Group on Friday, 27 March, from 10am – 1pm.
The group will be taking part in a FREE training session to learn how to carry out audits and surveys of paths in the local area.
The training will include a one-hour indoor session covering the benefits of path audits and how the information can be used. This will then be followed by a practical session, surveying various types of paths.
The indoor session will be held in the MacRosty Park Pavilion from 10-11am. From 11am – 1pm, the training will move outside (around the Hosh and Turret distillery area) for the practical session.
Attendees are asked to dress appropriately for the weather. Morning tea and coffee will be provided.
If you’d like to come along, please email Alex McLeod to let him know, and to make sure that there are enough course materials for everyone. Did we mention that the training is free?
