CCT has been working closely with our partners in the Crieff & Upper Strathearn Partnership and residents in Crieff to improve public transport to and from, and within Crieff. At present, there are three main projects we’re working on.
- Improving the Town Bus Service (no. 45)
- Involvement in the Community Rail Partnership — to improve the service from Gleneagles (and a connecting bus service)
- Improvements to the Crieff-to-Perth bus service
CCT’s Transport work is led by Board member, Roger Brickell. Roger had almost ten years as an officer for Lancashire Couty Council, where he was responsible for the supported bus network in that county. During those years, services were only reduced because they failed to meet criteria and were never cut simply to save money.
